While there are tabletop games like this geared towards younger children, there will often need to be an older child or adult involved to keep the game running smoothly. Tabletop RPGs (TTRPGs) often need a game master and character sheets to guide the gameplay. Tabletop games are played in person and are similar to board games, but they generally take a little more creativity.
